Houston Eye Associates is seeking an Optician to join our Gramercy/Houston eyewear team. You will assist patients in selecting frames, measuring, fitting, and dispensing eyewear while ensuring accurate prescriptions and insurance processing.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, with at least three years in an optical dispensary and ABOC certification or a plan to obtain it. Some travel may be required to nearby offices.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• ABOC certification required within one year if not held.
• Three years in optical dispensary/operations preferred.

• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Educate patients on eyewear options and lens choices.
• Style, measure, adjust, sell, and dispense eyewear.
• Process insurance claims and verify eyewear prescriptions.
• Coordinate with other offices for coverage as needed.
