Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation seeks a Behavior Technician to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children with autism under BCBA supervision. You will learn and apply ABA techniques to support skill development and behavior modification, with a paid training program to prepare for the RBT exam.

The role supports afternoons and evenings, offering opportunities for growth in a mission-driven company that serves children in home and school settings across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
• Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors.
• Minimum 1 year working with children.
• Reliable transportation.
• Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

Responsibilities

• Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the plan under supervision.
• Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation supports services rendered.
• Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.
• Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
• Complies with BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.
