Job summary

Connect ABA + Therapy is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to work directly with clients in homes, schools, and community settings under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized ABA plans, collect data, and support clients in developing communication, socialization, and daily living skills.

This role emphasizes fidelity, ethics, and ongoing training to deliver evidence-based interventions while promoting client independence and progress in real-world environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior plans with fidelity.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes, schools, or community settings.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA to address clients' specific needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one direct instruction to clients using ABA techniques, including discrete trial training (DTT) and naturalistic teaching strategies.
• Collect data on client progress and behavior using designated data collection tools and methods.
• Assist clients in acquiring functional skills across communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
• Foster a supportive and positive learning environment to promote engagement and independence.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team to review progress, adjust strategies, and ensure consistency across settings.
• Communicate progress updates with clients, families, and caregivers and share relevant information.
