Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to help children build skills toward greater independence, communication, and connection. You’ll provide one-on-one support in home-based or community-based settings, collaborating with Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• College coursework in psychology/education or related field preferred, or 1 year experience with children in relevant roles.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays.
• Help individuals build social and communication skills.
• Support families by addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Follow behavior-change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Collect and document progress, milestones, and session information accurately.
• Create encouraging, structured interactions during every session.
