Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children and adults with Autism and similar needs in home or community settings. You will work one-on-one with clients, helping them build social and communication skills, while following plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• College coursework in psychology/education/behavioral science or related field, or one year of relevant experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with autism or similar developmental challenges.
• Help individuals build social and communication skills.
• Support families by addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Follow behavior-change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Collect and document progress, milestones, and session information accurately.
• Create encouraging, structured interactions during every session.
