Job summary

Opal Autism Centers is hiring a Behavior Technician in Training (RBT in Training) for our Meridian, ID center. This full-time, on-site role offers paid structured training at $11.00/hour during the initial period, with pay increased after certification and client sessions begin.

Mentorship from BCBAs is provided to help you grow in Applied Behavior Analysis and support children with autism. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a willingness to complete RBT training and obtain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional psychology-related education is a plus.
• Willingness to complete the RBT training program and attain certification.
• CPR certification before start date and successful background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and complete the 40-hour RBT training program to develop knowledge in behavior analysis.
• Shadow and assist RBTs and BCBAs in implementing treatment plans.
• Collect and record electronic data on client behaviors and progress.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities to support learning and growth.
• Communicate with families about daily progress and attend team trainings.
