Job summary

You will work with teachers to monitor progress, assist with social skills, daily living tasks, and transitions between environments, including crisis management training as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience with behavioral management preferred.
• Ability to assist students with social skills and daily living tasks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver discrete trial therapy based on ABA to individual students.
• Provide reinforcement on an individual student basis.
• Assist students in joining mainstream education and developing independent work skills.
• Support student transitions between environments.
• Provide progress information to teachers.
• Assist with behavioral management needs.
• Monitor and assist students with structured skill lesson plans.
• Instruct small groups to develop social skills and peer interactions.
• Assist with personal care needs as required.
• Support motor control activities under supervision.
• Supervise playground activities and support related IEP goals.
• Observe student behavior and collect data on incidents.
• Participate in crisis management training.
