Job summary

CAPITOL REGION EDUCATION COUNCIL (CREC) in Windsor, CT seeks an ABA Instructor Tier 3 to support one-to-one and small group instruction, implement ABA-based interventions, and oversee BIPs as outlined in individualized programs. The role requires data collection, collaboration with the clinical team, and classroom support across activities.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree with RBT credentials and demonstrated experience in ABA programs for individuals with autism, with supervision

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, RBT, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience at an equivalent ABA program with individuals with autism and/or disabilities.
• Satisfactory performance evaluation(s) are required for achieving and maintaining this Level.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with all staff.
• RBT supervision provided as available and approved; BCBA supervision hours provided as available and approved.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and/or small group instruction under teacher direction.
• Implement academic and behavioral programming.
• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional times.
• Collect and input data into designated systems.
• Participate in clinical reviews and team meetings.
