Job summary

EASTCONN's Clinical, Developmental, and Therapeutic (CDT) Program in Willimantic, CT seeks an ABA Instructor to support students and staff in a structured educational setting focused on academic and personal growth.

The role works under supervision of a Special Education Teacher to promote a safe learning environment and address behavioral needs through applied behavior analysis within K-12 instruction.

Qualifications

• Experience with children with autism spectrum disorders or significant behavioral needs.
• Application of applied behavior analysis preferred.
• B.A. degree with concentration in child development or related field.
• Computer competency.

Responsibilities

• Assist students and classroom staff to promote a safe and healthy environment for learning.
• Work under the supervision of a Special Education Teacher or other certified staff who assigns tasks and reviews work.
• Support students in developing academic, social, emotional, and behavioral skills.
