Job summary

CREC is seeking a BEHAVIOR ANALYST to design, implement, and monitor behavioral programs for students, with emphasis on autism and related developmental needs. The BCBA will lead assessments, develop goals, and guide instructional strategies across River Street School in Windsor.

Responsibilities include data analysis, staff training, and ensuring fidelity of plans, while collaborating with families, educators, and the Clinical Team Leader to promote student progress and well-being.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA or related field is required.
• BCBA certification and CT DPH licensure required.
• Experience developing and monitoring behavioral programs for students with autism.
• Ability to train staff and collaborate with families and educators.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments including functional analyses.
• Develop assessment-linked individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Write formal behavioral goals and progress summaries.
• Train staff on evidence-based ABA strategies and data collection.
• Monitor data trends and fidelity of behavioral programming.
• Provide parent/teacher/staff training and support as needed.

Education

Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or Related field

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensed by CT DPH
