Job summary

The Behavioral Technician will work under the supervision of a BCBA, delivering ABA-based skills acquisition and behavior reduction in home, clinic, community, and school settings. You will collect data and assist with parent training to support program goals.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a human services field and one year of direct relevant experience or an associate’s degree with two years of direct relevant experience.
• Strong organization and communication skills are required.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements intervention strategies under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Teaches targeted behaviors using ABA techniques.
• Records and tracks data from training sessions.
• Reinforces positive behavior with children on caseload.
• Communicates effectively with administrators, parents and community members.
• Provides accurate documentation of intervention, goals and objectives.
