Job summary

Alora Behavioral Health in California is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians (BTs) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for children with autism and related developmental disabilities. This part-time role offers afternoon and evening opportunities with paid training and a pathway for career growth.

You’ll work under supervision to help clients improve communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children in a professional, educational, caregiving, or similar capacity.
• Must be at least 18 years old and available for 15+ hours per week, afternoons/evenings.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance proof.
• Strong communication, organization and documentation skills.
• Background screening, TB testing and health documentation per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under supervision of a BCBA or clinician.
• Help clients develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Implement treatment plans using evidence-based ABA strategies.
• Collect session data, track progress, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Deliver services in clients' homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other settings.
• Collaborate with supervisors, BCBAs, caregivers and team members.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
