Job summary

Alora Behavioral Health is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our California team. You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them build communication and daily living skills under supervision.

New to ABA? We provide training, mentorship, and support. Part-time roles with afternoon/evening hours offer flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement within the Milestone Moments program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience working with children in a professional, educational, caregiving, or similar capacity.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Availability for at least 15 hours per week, afternoons/evenings, with a consistent schedule.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to complete pre-employment screenings (background, TB testing, fit-for-duty examination).
• Six months+ experience with individuals with autism or related developmental disabilities (preferred).
• College coursework or enrollment in psychology, education, or related field (preferred).
• Previous ABA experience (preferred).
• No ABA Experience? Valued transferable skills from childcare, education, etc. (not required).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under supervision.
• Help clients develop communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills.
• Implement treatment plans using ABA strategies and positive behavior support.
• Collect session data, track progress, and maintain clinical documentation.
• Deliver services in homes, schools, communities, clinics, or other settings.
• Collaborate with supervisors, BCBAs, caregivers, and team members.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
