Job summary

HANDS Centerfor Autism, LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children in home and clinic settings. You will implement plans developed by a BCBA, collect data, and help ensure client safety and progress.

The role requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma (higher degrees preferred), and 1 year of experience with individuals with special needs. RBT certification is highly preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma required; higher degree preferred (psychology, special education, or related field).
• At least 1 year of experience with children, adolescents, or adults with special needs.
• RBT certification is highly preferred.
• Must be caring, energetic, and detail-oriented.
• Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral interventions to clients in home and center-based settings.
• Run skill acquisition programs based on ABA principles.
• Complete daily program writing and data collection before end of shift.
• Work with BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collect and record data on clients’ progress.
• Maintain well-being and safety of all clients during sessions.
