Job summary

First Day ABA Therapy is seeking a Behavior Technician to administer ABA therapy to individuals with autism in home, school, community, or clinical settings under supervision of a BCBA or BCaBA. You will support skill development, data collection, and family collaboration to ensure effective intervention across environments.

Qualifications include a High School diploma, Active RBT status where required, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) status required where applicable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
• Licensed driver with automobile insured; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ABA therapy sessions with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in home, school, community, or clinical settings; assist with skill development, communication, social interaction, and behavior management.
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA, ensuring fidelity to the plan and maintaining detailed documentation of treatment and outcomes.
• Accurately collect data on client behavior during intervention sessions.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, BT/RBTs, family caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency across environments.
• Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients and coworkers.
• Performs other related duties as needed.
