Job summary

Center for Human Services (CHS) in California, MO, is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide individualized ABA therapy under BCBA supervision and to document progress accurately. You will implement behavioral supports using ABA techniques such as reinforcement and task analysis, and you will communicate with the BCBA and families about client progress.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• At least 6 months experience in the developmental disabilities field, in a training/teacher role, or similar work related to behavioral supports or individual development.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a background check.
• RBT-Credentialed through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) upon hire.
• Must complete required trainings.
• Must present a valid driver's license.
• Must provide proof of personal valid vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide one on one treatment to individuals in need of applied behavior analytic therapy in any and all locations deemed necessary to support the individual in services.
• Implement and maintain feedback provided by the treating BCBA.
• Implement goals under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide adequate feedback regarding the progress of the client to the supervisor.
• Develop professional relationships with caregivers, providing adequate feedback regarding client progress.
• Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help skills, social skills, and many other targeted goals.
• Keep and track accurate data collection according to the treatment plan over goal progress.
• Adheres to the ethical standards of the BACB and Center for Human Services.
• Observes confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
