Job summary

Center for Human Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to implement ABA-based therapy under BCBA supervision. The role includes documenting progress, maintaining data, and supporting clients in daily activities at CHS locations in Missouri.

The position requires completing 40 hours of RBT training, achieving RBT credentialing within 90 days, and adhering to BACB ethics and HIPAA standards while collaborating with caregivers and the treatment team.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• At least 6 months experience in the developmental disabilities field, in a training/teacher role, or similar work related to behavioral supports or individual development.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a background check.
• BT-Credentialed through the BACB within the first 90 days of hire, to become an RBT.
• Must complete CHS training as stated by policy.
• Must obtain Class E driver’s license within 30 days of starting.
• Must provide proof of personal valid vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy using ABA techniques under supervision of a BCBA.
• Complete 40 hours of RBT training upon hire.
• Pass the RBT credentialing exam within the first 90 days of hire.
• Provide one-on-one or small group ABA therapy as needed.
• Maintain accurate data collection and progress notes as per the treatment plan.
• Adhere to BACB ethics and HIPAA standards.
