Job summary

Beachmont Behavioral Health is seeking compassionate, reliable Behavior Technicians to work with children, adolescents, and adults with autism and developmental disabilities under supervision of a BCBA. You will help clients build communication, social, and daily living skills using ABA.

The paid 6-day training program includes HIPAA, ABA basics, data collection, and safety procedures. A high school diploma or GED, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 18+ years old, reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to receive coaching and feedback and pass a background check.
• Experience with children or individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, self-help, and daily living skills.
• Collect behavioral data and complete session documentation.
• Collaborate with families and clinical supervisors.
• Help individuals increase independence and improve quality of life.
