Job summary

Compass Behavioral Group in Newport News, VA is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in home, clinic, or community settings under age 21. You will collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to implement treatment plans and coach caregivers for effective outcomes.

Eligible candidates may have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and driving experience; preferred are degrees in psychology-related fields and experience with autism or developmental

Qualifications

• High school diploma, valid driver's license, and at least 1 year of licensed driving experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field.
• Preferred: Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in home, clinic, or community settings to children and adolescents under 21.
• Work with BCBAs to implement treatment plans and interventions.
• Engage caregivers through coaching, modeling, and supportive communication.
• Maintain accurate session documentation and data collection.
