Gateway Pediatric Therapy, LLC in Michigan is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to deliver evidence-based ABA therapy to children with autism in home and clinic settings.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate expressively and receptively both verbally and in writing.
• Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain instructional area during the session.
• Prepare and keep binder, stimuli, and needed materials accessible and organized.
• Dress appropriately and arrive on time for work with ample time to prepare for session.
• Complete all tasks associated with the completion of a session.
• Receive 1:1 and group supervision from supervisors through direct observation.
• Attend team meetings and scheduled trainings.
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and parents.
• Respond to all internal communication within 24 hours.
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and protect client confidentiality.
• Deliver instruction following training and data-driven plans.
• Collect, record, and analyze data per Gateway procedures.
• Identify interventions and communicate with supervisors as needed.
• Complete training and report on client plans and emergency procedures.
• Maintain basic first aid certification.
• Submit progress notes after each session.
• Ensure appropriate responses to client behaviors per procedures.
