Job summary

Gateway Pediatric Therapy in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to support children with autism through evidence-based ABA sessions at home or in clinics. You will work closely with BCBA supervision and families to implement individualized plans, collect data, and help children reach their daily milestones.

This role emphasizes timely communication, professional collaboration with teammates, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

Must communicate expressively and receptively both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to sit in a child-sized chair or on the floor; switch postures as needed; walk, jog, or run for client elopement.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must have a valid Driver License and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

Organize and maintain instructional area throughout the session.
Prepare and keep binder, stimuli, and needed materials accessible and organized.
Dress appropriately and arrive on time for work with ample time to prepare for session.
Complete all tasks associated with the completion of a session.
Receive supervision from supervisors through direct observation.
Attend team meetings and scheduled trainings.
Communicate professionally with coworkers and parents.
Respond to all internal communications within 24 hours.
Maintain client privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
