Job summary

Ro Health is hiring a Behavioral Technician to support students in the Oakland Unified School District, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in a school setting from pre-K through high school. Roles include 1:1 or general classroom support, with opportunities for Last Mile Training to obtain RBT certification.

Providers work with teachers and students, maintaining calm, clear communication while assisting with behavioral goals.

Qualifications

• Instructionally eligible.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in childcare and/or ABA.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
• Strong assessment skills.
• Passion for supporting students in the learning process.
• Inclination to work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in either 1:1 or general classroom capacity.
• Communicate calmly, clearly, and concisely with children and adults.
• Stand, walk, and sit for long periods as needed.
• Frequent bending, crouching, and lifting up to 40 pounds may be required.
