Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is seeking Behavior Technicians to deliver 1-1 in-home ABA therapy for children from birth to 21 in the Virginia area. The BTs work under a BCBA, implementing treatment plans and collecting progress data in clients' homes.

Flexible part-time/evening/afternoon hours are available, with paid training and support. Join a team-focused environment that aims to positively impact families and provide life-changing treatment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Prior experience providing support to children with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs preferred.
• Exposure to ASD or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though training will be provided.
• Reliable transportation with ability to commute to assigned locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information per HIPAA and policies.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills with ability to follow instructions and document information accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
• Physically assist with sessions requiring movement and safe engagement with children.
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
