Job summary

Alora Behavioral Health is hiring an ABA Behavior Technician in Hawthorne, CA. You will work one-on-one with clients to reach developmental milestones, delivering ABA services under supervision and collecting data on goals throughout each session.

The role offers paid training, supervision from experienced staff, flexible part-time and full-time options, and opportunities for BCBA supervision for qualifying candidates, with benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of work experience or exposure to individuals with disabilities.
• Availability of at least 15 hours in afternoons/evenings (3:00 pm–8:00 pm typically).
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance (travel compensation).
• Must pass criminal background check, TB tests, pre-employment exam, and provide immunity proofs (MMR/Varicella).

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct implementation of ABA services under supervision.
• Collect data on goals throughout sessions.
• Work in home, community, school, clinic, or other locations with individuals with autism or related disabilities.
• Address problem behaviors using positive behavior support techniques.
• Assist with caregiver support and training as needed.
• Arrive on time and end sessions punctually.
• Submit timecards and complete clinical notes per policy.
• Collaborate with Supervisors and BCBAs.
• Follow ethical standards and company policies.
• Assist with new hire training via overlaps and shadowing.

Education

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

Currently enrolled in college or has completed some college coursework
