Job summary

Alora Behavioral Health in Pasadena, CA seeks an ABA Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with clients, deliver ABA services under supervision, and collect data to track progress toward treatment goals.

This role offers paid training, a supportive team, flexible part-time and full-time options, and potential BCBA supervision hours for eligible candidates as you grow in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of work experience or exposure to individuals with disabilities.
• Availability of at least 15 hours per week in afternoons/evenings (3:00 pm–8:00 pm).
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Must pass criminal background check, TB tests, pre-employment exam, and provide proof of immunity to MMR and Varicella.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct implementation of ABA services under the direction of a Supervisor/BCBA.
• Collect data on goals throughout the session as set forth in the treatment plan.
• Work in home, community, school, clinic, or other locations with individuals with autism or related disabilities.
• Address problem behaviors using positive behavior support techniques developed by a Supervisor and BCBA.
• Assist with caregiver support and training as needed.
• Arrive on time for scheduled sessions and end sessions punctually.
• Submit timecards and complete clinical notes for each session per company policy.
• Collaborate with Supervisors and BCBAs.
• Follow all ethical standards related to ABA service delivery and adhere to company policies.
