Job summary

Maxim Healthcare seeks a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one support in home or community settings for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar needs.

You will help build social and communication skills, follow behavior-change plans, and document progress for ongoing skill development. This role requires a passion for helping others, strong communication, and at least a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in home or community settings.
• Help clients build social and communication skills.
• Assist families by addressing challenging behaviors per plans.
• Document progress and session details accurately.
• Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts to follow behavior plans.
