Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children and adults with autism and developmental differences in home and community settings. You will work one-on-one under supervision of BCBAs, implementing treatment plans and helping clients build communication and daily living skills.

Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and either college coursework in psychology or at least one year in similar roles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One of: college coursework in psychology or related field, or at least one year of experience in a related role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.
