Job summary

AAA Mountain West Group in Reno, NV is seeking tow operators to join our roadside team. You will operate tow trucks safely, provide essential assistance such as tire changes, fuel delivery, and lock-out services, and calm stressed members on scene.

Starting pay is $22.75/hour with guaranteed 40 hours per week and shift differentials plus monthly bonuses. We offer training, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) with company match, and tuition reimbursement to support your career growth.

Responsibilities

• Operating tow trucks safely and efficiently.
• Performing simple vehicle diagnostics to figure out the issue.
• Providing essential roadside assistance, including tire changes, fuel delivery, and vehicle lock-outs.
• Building trust, problem-solving, and being a calming presence for our members on the scene.
• Clear and proficient verbal and written communication even under pressure
• Common knowledge of vehicle components and the common reasons for vehicle failure
• Demonstrates problem solving and listening skills to evaluate member safety as well as the ability to discern safety issues and respond appropriately
• Ability to drive a manual/automatic shift vehicle
