Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the A320 Final Assembly Line in Mobile, AL, second shift.

The role leads all Station activities, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating with multi-functional teams across the A320 and A220 lines. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Aeronautical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, 4+ years in aviation manufacturing, and 2–5 years in leadership, with strong English communication and knowledge of

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Aviation manufacturing/engineering or equivalent.
2–5 years of leadership experience in Aviation preferred.
Experience with quality and logistics rules in aviation manufacturing; ability to communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all employees assigned to the Station; oversee performance, development needs and recognition.
Provide direction to production activities and monitor aircraft progression through the Station.
Enforce OSHA rules and safety commitments; act as a role model for safety.
Coordinate station activities with management, other stations and stakeholders; ensure material availability.
Develop manpower forecast based on workload and required skill sets to meet delivery schedules.
Identify and resolve manufacturing problems early to prevent delays and optimize flow.
