Job summary

Oneida Professional Services (OPS) seeks a motivated Classroom & Event Support Specialist for Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, Montgomery, AL. The role delivers classroom readiness, audiovisual support, event coordination, and instructional environment support for the Civilian Leadership Development School.

Responsibilities include configuring spaces, performing pre-event checks, operating AV gear, and assisting instructors and students during training sessions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of classroom operations, training support, logistics, or event support experience.
• Experience supporting audiovisual systems and virtual collaboration platforms.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Configure classrooms and training spaces for instruction (resident and virtual).
• Conduct pre-event equipment checks and ensure readiness.
• Operate and troubleshoot AV equipment (projectors, mics, VTC, smart boards).
• Support virtual training sessions by monitoring communications and resources.
• Coordinate classroom setup, teardown and facility restoration.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization.
• Support Distinguished Visitor events, ceremonies and functions.
• Coordinate venue reservations, logistics, parking and resources.
• Prepare event materials and itineraries for government review.
• Assist instructors and students during in-person and virtual training events.
