Job summary

Oneida ESC Group seeks a Classroom & Event Support Specialist to ensure mission-ready classrooms and events at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, Montgomery, AL. The role delivers classroom readiness, AV support, and coordination for trainings and ceremonies.

Responsibilities include configuring spaces, performing equipment checks, operating projectors and VTC systems, supporting virtual sessions, and assisting instructors and attendees during in-person and hybrid events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of classroom operations, training support, logistics, or event support experience.
• Experience with audiovisual systems and virtual collaboration platforms.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to approximately 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Configure classrooms and training spaces for resident and virtual instruction.
• Conduct pre-event equipment checks and ensure classroom readiness.
• Operate and troubleshoot projectors, microphones, VTC systems, and smart boards.
• Support virtual training sessions by monitoring communications and managing online resources.
• Coordinate classroom setup, teardown, and facility restoration activities.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization.
• Support Distinguished Visitor events, ceremonies, and special functions.
• Coordinate venue reservations, logistics, parking, and event resources.
• Prepare event materials and itineraries for government review.
• Assist instructors and students during in-person and virtual training events.
