Answers In Genesis Group at the Creation Museum in Petersburg, KY seeks an A-Team Assistant Manager to lead a servant-leader team in all attraction operations. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes SERVICE, integrity, and a God-honoring mission to ensure a frictionless guest experience.

You’ll coordinate staffing, supervise department trainers, and support SOPs while fostering spiritual growth and professional development for staff members.

Qualifications

• Must agree with and be able to sign our Statement of Faith.
• Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Regularly attends a local Bible-believing church.
• Customer service oriented, dedicated to high guest satisfaction levels
• Good problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
• Attention to details: eyes on guest service standards, costs, safety
• Regular, reliability, and punctual attendance is required and is an essential function of this role
• Must be able to work scheduled shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak guest attendance periods as needed
• Must be able to work on site and provide in-person guest service throughout the scheduled shift
• Must be able to transition quickly between tasks/work areas based on guest traffic and operational needs
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and movement throughout the retail environment
• Must be able to lift/carry merchandise and supply up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. occasionally (or with assistance if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
• Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.
• Approach all tasks with a second mile mindset.
• Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments.
• Work cohesively with all departments of the attraction to insure daily operational needs and objectives are managed to provide a frictionless guest experience
• Frequently inspect operating and guest engagement zones for brand standards and requests corrective action for any issues
• Proactively develop and maintain a work atmosphere that enhances the spiritual growth of all team members
• Complete staffing schedules aligning with operations managers and special events for best possible daily coverage and assignment of work areas
• Work with all department managers and their department trainers to ensure A-Team staff operate consistently to each department training guides
• Work with department managers to generate and use tools of recovery to resolve guest complaints
• Frequently provides inspection calibrations of A-Team staff operations to ensure compliance with SOPs
• Continually evaluate SOPs and seek improvements for the benefit of guests and staff
• Coordinate with Health and Safety and Department of Public Safety to ensure safe operations for staff and guests
• Collaborate on the professional development of all team staff through one-on-one meetings, coaching, and training opportunities with the Learning and Developing Team.
• Promote effective communication between staff and management
• Assist as needed with staff scheduling, payroll, and other administrative duties
• And all other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
