Job summary

Horizon Air in Seattle, WA is inviting applicants to its Maintenance Technician Development Program. The program provides a structured path to Airframe and Powerplant licensing through a FAR 147 certified curriculum, with dedicated mentorship and a clear route to certification and a career with Horizon Air/Alaska Airlines.

Participants sign an agreement to work for Horizon Air/Alaska Airlines for 30 months after acceptance.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an approved FAR 147 program.
• Ability to obtain A&P license within 90 days of graduation.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Support education with mentorship updates and progress.
• Communicate curriculum progress to assigned mentor/leader.
• Commit to 2.5 years of employment with Horizon Air/Alaska Airlines after program completion.
