Job summary

Horizon Air is offering a Maintenance Technician Development Program designed to help you achieve your A&P license through a FAR 147 certified program. The path leads to a Horizon Air Technician role after completing requirements and a minimum 30-month commitment.

Participants must be enrolled in an approved A&P program, pursue licensure within 90 days of graduation, and agree to travel and location requirements including Canada travel and a valid passport.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a certified FAR 147 FAA Airframe and Powerplant Program.

Responsibilities

• Enrollment in approved A&P school and good standing.
• Quarterly mentor/leader check-ins.
• Maintain communication on curriculum progress.
• Commit to 2.5 years of work with Horizon Air/Alaska Airlines after program.
