Job summary

6 Degrees Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor in Alpharetta, GA, to lead a team of 5–7 AP professionals and own the full AP process across several entities and currencies.

You will drive automation and process improvements while collaborating with Procurement, Treasury, Tax, and Finance, and support month-end and year-end closes in a hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive AP experience, including 3 to 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in a global Shared Services or Center of Excellence environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the AP team, including workload balancing and training
• Oversee high-volume PO and non-PO invoice processing, payments, and vendor account management
• Manage AP across multiple countries and entities while partnering with Procurement, Treasury, Tax, and Finance

This supervisor leads a team of 5 to 7 AP professionals and owns the full AP process across several legal entities and currencies. You’ll keep a high-volume operation running smoothly while also driving automation and process improvement projects. It’s a hybrid role and a great next step for an AP leader who likes both managing people and fixing processes.
