Job summary

Polycorp in San Jose, CA is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist to join our finance team. You will process vendor invoices, manage regular check runs, respond to vendor inquiries, and assist with month-end close and sales tax filings.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

• Process and enter vendor invoices


• Manage regular check runs


• Fielding and responding to vendor inquiries


• Month end tasks including reconciling A/P, Other Expenses, Other Liabilities


• Assist with Sales tax Filings/Reporting


• Match invoicing to Good Received Not Invoiced


• Work with purchasing to resolve matching issues

Audit/Year End Close

• Assist with year and audit preparation and response as needed

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

• High school diploma; post-secondary accounting education beneficial


• 1 - 3 years accounting experience, general accounting/ Bookkeeping


• Understanding of general accounting including accounts payable, account reconciliations and banking transactions


• Strong computer aptitude, including Microsoft Excel and accounting software


• High attention to detail and accuracy


• High ethical and confidentiality standards
