Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in aviation sciences, quality systems or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• 6 years technical experience within Part 25 aircraft, working with a highly regulated quality assurance system is required.
• 3 years in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Repair Station is in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and manufacturers recommendations.
• Manage planning and development of quality standards, methods and procedures used by the Repair Station in complying with all applicable regulatory requirements, and ensure effective utilization of labor and materials.
• Maintain working relationships with local regulatory authorities, OEMs and vendors to ensure the Repair Stations continued growth and successful daily operation.
• Establish procedures for completing, maintaining and filing all inspection forms and documents used by the Repair Station.
• Establish training programs to continually upgrade employees technical capabilities and knowledge of governing procedures, regulations and requirements.
• Promote and foster departmental goals and objectives. Explain and reinforce the company values and goals to employees with an emphasis on safety.
• Appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, address complaints and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Assign tasks to subordinate employees to meet company and customer needs; hire qualified personnel as the need arises.
• Prepare departmental budgets and establish procedures and controls to ensure that expenditures are within the company guidelines.
