Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking an RS Inspector A&P in Savannah to perform quality control inspections on aircraft and components and to ensure airworthiness and proper documentation. The role supports pre-paint and post-paint activities with strong emphasis on adherence to FAA/CAA requirements.

Requirements include a valid A&P license, a minimum of six years in aviation maintenance (avionics, electrical, or mechanical), and excellent blueprint reading, QC knowledge, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 6 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical).
• A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong computer proficiency and knowledge of QC procedures.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control inspections on aircraft/components.
• Inspections of aircraft, engine, and component repairs to FAA data.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements.
• Maintain accurate, neat, and legible records of the work performed.
• Coordinate jobs with RTS to ensure accurate aircraft records are produced promptly.
• Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion.
• Ensure aircraft/components are airworthy prior to flight.
• Mentor technicians on effective documentation.
