Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah seeks a Lead Inspector A&P to lead inspections and coordinate quality control for aircraft and components, ensuring airworthiness and compliant documentation.

Requires 10 years aviation maintenance experience including Gulfstream aircraft experience and an A&P license, with strong blueprint reading and QA expertise. First shift, full-time, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 10 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical) to include 4 years Gulfstream aircraft experience and 4 years of aircraft inspection experience.
• A&P license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate inspections of aircraft, aircraft components, and reviews paperwork to ensure workmanship meets quality standards and airworthiness.
• Direct and coordinate inspections of aircraft, engine, and component repairs and alterations to ensure conformity to FAA approved data.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements on the aircraft during maintenance or outfitting.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed on aircraft/components.
• Coordinate with RTS to ensure accurate aircraft records are produced timely.
• Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion on all aircraft prior to return to service.
