Job summary

Gulfstream Savannah is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to perform inspections on aircraft and components, ensuring compliance with FAA, CAA, and customer requirements. You will coordinate cross-functional inspection activities, maintain thorough records, and mentor technicians on documentation quality to uphold airworthiness standards.

The role requires a strong background in aviation maintenance (avionics/electrical/mechanical), an A&P license, and proficiency in blueprint reading and QC

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical).
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required.
• Strong understanding of aircraft inspection and maintenance practices.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and technical data interpretation.
• Working knowledge of QA/QC systems and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Control inspections on aircraft and components.
• Inspect aircraft, engines, and component repairs/alterations for FAA data compliance.
• Ensure all work meets FAA and customer Part 135 requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance and inspection requirements across mechanical and electrical teams.
• Maintain precise maintenance and inspection documentation.
• Audit maintenance records prior to return to service approval.
• Verify airworthiness of aircraft/components before flight.
• Mentor technicians on documentation quality and standards.
• Provide technical support to ensure FAA/CAA regulations compliance.
• Communicate with leadership on assignments and delivery schedules.
