Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure aircraft and components meet airworthiness standards. The role focuses on inspections, documentation, and collaboration with maintenance teams to maintain FAA/CAA compliance.

You will review repairs, coordinate inspection requirements, and mentor junior staff to improve documentation practices. Strong English skills and an A&P license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical).
• A&P license required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections on aircraft/components.
• Complete inspections of aircraft, engine, and component repairs and alterations to ensure conformity to FAA approved data.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements on the aircraft during maintenance or outfitting.
• Keep accurate, neat and legible records of the work performed on aircraft/components.
• Coordinate throughout assigned jobs with RTS to ensure accurate aircraft records are produced in a timely manner.
• Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion on all aircraft prior to approval for return to service.
• Ensure aircraft/components are airworthy prior to any flight activities.
• Mentor technicians on effective documentation.
• Communicate with management to identify work assignments and delivery schedules.
• Provide technical support to inspection personnel in supporting FAA/CAA documented requirements.
