Job summary

Air Methods in Russell Springs, Kentucky seeks an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to maintain EC130 operations. You will perform inspections, repairs, and alterations on company aircraft, ensuring compliance with FARs, manuals, and directives while documenting activities.

The role requires 2–5 years in aircraft maintenance, an active FAA A&P license, and willingness to travel 25–50% with on-call availability nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance.
• FAA A&P license in good standing.
• Factory airframe/power plant schooling preferred; FAR 135 ops preferred.
• Ability to read and understand 337s, Service Bulletins, ADs.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with procedures, directives, and FARs.
• Verifies part numbers and serial numbers against documentation.
• Ensures maintenance documentation complies with regulations and manuals.
• Participates in the Safety Management System (SMS) programs and processes.
• Maintains a clean and professional work area.
• Advises Pilot in Command of maintenance issues that could take aircraft out of service.
• Requests aviation parts and maintains inventory for prompt repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
