Job summary

Air Methods in Florida seeks an aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations on company aircraft in compliance with FAA rules and internal procedures. You will ensure documentation accuracy and support safety management system objectives while maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

You should have 2–5 years of maintenance experience, an FAA A&P license, and be willing to travel as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of related aircraft maintenance experience required.
• Factory airframe/power plant schooling preferred.
• FAR 135 operations experience preferred.
• FAA A&P license in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components per procedures and regulations.
• Verify part numbers and serials match documentation after installation/removal.
• Ensure maintenance docs comply with FARs and manuals.
• Participate in SMS improvement activities and maintain a safe work area.
• Advise PIC of issues that would remove aircraft from service.
• Maintain Status Reports data accuracy for assigned aircraft.
• Request parts to maintain stock for prompt repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
