Job summary

Air Methods is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to maintain rotorcraft and components on EC135 aircraft. You will perform inspections, repairs, and alterations in compliance with FARs and company procedures, and work on documentation and parts control.

The role requires an active FAA A&P license, 2–5 years of related experience, and willingness to travel 25–50% with on-call availability, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred.
• Active FAA A&P license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and repairs per FARs, ADs, SBs and procedures.
• Verify part numbers and serial numbers against documentation.
• Ensure all aircraft maintenance docs comply with regulations and manuals.
• Participate in SMS and maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Advise PIC of maintenance issues affecting aircraft in service.
• Request parts to maintain inventory for prompt repairs.
• Travel 25–50% and be available for on-call rotations.
• Other duties as assigned.
