Job summary

AIM—Aviation Institute of Maintenance is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Instructors (A&P) to deliver FAA Part 147-aligned curriculum and hands-on instruction to aspiring technicians.

This onsite role welcomes experienced A&P mechanics, aircraft technicians, and AMTs, with a 5-day paid instructor training program to ease transition.

Full-time and part-time schedules across multiple campuses, with sign-on and relocation assistance at select locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
• Experience mentoring and developing others.

Responsibilities

• Teach aircraft maintenance systems and FAA-aligned curriculum.
• Deliver hands-on instruction in classroom and hangar environments.
• Maintain records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
• Support curriculum updates with program leadership.
• Create a structured, safety-focused learning environment.
• Maintain lab equipment and training materials.
