Job summary

Aviation Institute of Maintenance is seeking an FAA-certified Aircraft Mechanic Instructor to lead hands-on aircraft maintenance training at one of our nationwide campuses. You will deliver practical instruction, foster a student-first learning atmosphere, and collaborate with fellow instructors to keep FAA-aligned content current and engaging.

The role emphasizes maintaining a safe lab, managing administrative tasks, and mentoring students to ensure retention and success across our nationwide

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with campus student-management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on aircraft maintenance instruction.
• Maintain an inclusive, engaging classroom environment.
• Collaborate with instructors and academic leaders on curriculum.
• Keep the lab safe, organized, and stocked with tools/equipment.
• Handle grading, attendance, and regulatory compliance accurately.
