Job summary

The Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Instructors to deliver FAA Part 147-aligned curriculum at our 15 campus locations. This on-site role offers 4- or 5-day schedules with full-time and part-time options, including day and evening shifts.

We welcome AMTs, aircraft mechanics, and FAA-certified A&P mechanics to join a program that values hands-on mentoring and real-world instruction. A training program is provided to ease classroom onboarding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in aviation or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• FAA A&P Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Teach aircraft maintenance systems and FAA-aligned curriculum.
• Provide hands-on instruction in classroom and hangar environments.
• Maintain records of attendance, grades, and progress.
• Support updates to curriculum with program leadership.
• Ensure a structured, safety-focused learning environment.
• Maintain equipment and training materials.
