Job summary

Solairus Aviation, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Los Angeles, CA to lead all maintenance on assigned aircraft and ensure airworthiness per CFRs and Solairus policies. You will manage budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination, reporting to the Director of Maintenance and CAM.

The role requires a valid A&P certificate and 10+ years in corporate aircraft maintenance, with strong regulatory knowledge and leadership capabilities. A relocation/support to KVNY area is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid A&P Certificate required.
• 10+ years in corporate aircraft maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of CFRs and aircraft maintenance standards.
• Experience planning, implementing and directing maintenance programs and control systems.
• Safety and regulatory compliance focus and operational excellence.
• Must be drug- and alcohol-free.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities of assigned aircraft and ensure CFR compliance with Solairus standards.
• Coordinate maintenance training requirements with DOM and CAM.
• Develop a budget for maintenance costs including parts, labor, tooling and facilities.
• Supervise and approve expenditures related to the aircraft.
• Maintain aircraft maintenance records and ensure airworthiness directives are followed.
• Act as liaison with the FAA regarding maintenance policies.
