Job summary

VSE Aviation, Inc. seeks an Aviation Technician I to inspect, service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul aircraft components in a safety-focused environment in accordance with all regulations.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting fuel/pneumatic equipment, documenting work per manuals, and ensuring tools and data meet standards; candidates should hold an A&P certificate or equivalent and have relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant/technical work experience or equivalent
• Ability to teardown, inspect, assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul aircraft fuel/pneumatic components
• Read and interpret schematics/drawings
• Must be computer literate and proficient with MS Office
• Willing to work additional hours as needed and to work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft fuel/pneumatic equipment
• Perform and document work per manuals and regulations
• Maintain all shop calibrated tools
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with approved data
• Read and interpret schematics and drawings
• Perform tasks safely and timely
• Record information and complete assignments per procedures
