Job summary

VSE is seeking an Aviation Technician III in the United States to inspect, service, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul aircraft components. You will work to high safety standards, follow all regulations, and contribute to a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The role requires an A&P certification or equivalent and substantial hands-on experience with fuel/pneumatic systems, reading schematics, and performing complex maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Technical Degree or equivalent
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and repair aircraft components
• Excellent reading of schematics/drawings
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Must be detail oriented and organized

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft fuel/pneumatic equipment.
• Perform and document work per manuals and regulations.
• Maintain shop tools and ensure calibration status.
• Work per inspection procedures and safety policies.
• Read and interpret schematics and drawings.
• Record information and complete work assignments accurately.
• Prioritize tasks and work with supervision as needed.
• Follow environmental health and safety policies.
